Hoy, la Campaña Clinton/Gore ‘96 anuncia la salida de un anuncio nuevo que se titula, " Educación." El anuncio sale en español.

Today, November 1, 1996, the Clinton/Gore '96 campaign announces the release of a new ad entitled, "Education." The ad is in Spanish. The English translation of the ad follows after the Spanish:

Como estudiante y latino, yo sé el valor de la educación.

Tambien sé que Dole y Gingrich trataron de cortar las becas Pell.

Pero bajo el Presidente Clinton se aumentaron éstas y otras becas.

El Presidente Clinton propone más tecnología en los salones de clase.

Mientras que Dole y Gingrich trataron de cortarle a la educación $31 billones de dólares.

El Presidente Clinton quiere preparar a nuestra juventud para el futuro....

que tengamos más oportunidades para mejorar nuestra calidad de vida.

Por eso el 5 de noviembre voy a votar por el Presidente Clinton.

As a Latino and a student I know the value of education.

I also know that Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich tried to cut Pell Grants.

But under President Clinton Pell Grants and scholarships were increased.

Dole/Gingrich tried to cut education and training by some $31 billion.

President Clinton wants us to be prepared for the future...

He wants us to have more opportunities, to improve our quality of life.

That’s why on November 5th, I’m going to vote for President Clinton.
