CLINTON/GORE ‘96 CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES MEMBERS OF
THE DEBATE NEGOTIATING TEAM

The Clinton/Gore ‘96 campaign today announced the members of the President’s debate negotiating team. Led by chief negotiator Mickey Kantor, the members are Vernon E. Jordan, Jr., Ron Klain, Bev Lindsey, Bob Squier, Harry Thomason, and Lyn Utrecht.

Vernon Jordan is a senior partner in the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P. and was Chairman of the Clinton Presidential Transition Board in 1992. Ron Klain serves as Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to Vice President Gore. Bev Lindsey was a debate coordinator for the Clinton/Gore campaign in 1992. Bob Squier is Senior Partner at Squier Knapp Ochs Communications and Harry Thomason is President of Mozark Productions. Lyn Utrecht is Clinton/Gore ‘96 General Counsel and a partner in the law firm of Oldaker, Ryan, Phillips & Utrecht.
